Ambassador Suryo pratomo met with SINGAPORE TOURISM BOARD Chairman Olivier Lim on 17 April 2025 to explore enhanced tourism cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore
Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Suryo Pratomo, conducted a courtesy call with Mr Olivier Lim, Chairman of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), on 17 April 2025. The meeting took place in Singapore and focused on strengthening bilateral tourism cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, both parties discussed strategic efforts to boost tourism, including the development of twinning destinations, enhanced connectivity, joint destination promotions, and potential collaborations in the cruise and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) sectors.
Ambassador emphasised the importance of closer cooperation in promoting priority destinations and increasing tourist visits. He also highlighted the shared interest in building a more integrated tourism experience between Indonesia and Singapore.
In response, Chairman Olivier Lim welcomed the initiative and expressed STB’s commitment to support concrete collaboration efforts. This includes exchanging information and jointly promoting tourism initiatives that benefit both countries.
