
Indonesia and Singapore reaffirm commitment to defence cooperation and regional peace during high-level meeting in Singapore
The Secretary General of the Indonesian Ministry of Defence recently paid a courtesy visit to the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Singapore, where he met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore. The visit underscores Indonesia’s ongoing efforts to deepen bilateral defence relations and promote regional security cooperation.

During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to enhance defence collaboration between the two countries, particularly in the areas of strategic coordination, capacity-building, and regional peace diplomacy. The talks reflected shared concerns over regional stability and the importance of coordinated efforts in addressing common security challenges.
The Indonesian Ambassador reiterated the embassy’s full support for strengthening synergy between institutions, noting that cooperation in defence and diplomacy plays a crucial role in maintaining regional peace and stability. He highlighted the embassy’s commitment to facilitating continuous dialogue between stakeholders from both nations.
