The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore received Indonesian personnel serving under the Civil-Military Cooperation in Air Traffic Management (CMAC) arrangement for an introductory call at the Adinata Room on 11 August 2026.

H.E. Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore, received the personnel alongside the Defence Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore and the Transportation Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore. The meeting formed part of the Embassy’s efforts to strengthen communication and coordination with Indonesian representatives serving in Singapore.

During the meeting, Ambassador Pandjaitan emphasised the importance of professionalism, discipline, ethics, and harmony in carrying out official duties. He also encouraged continued communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders in Singapore to support the effective fulfilment of their responsibilities.

The emphasis on coordination is particularly relevant to the CMAC arrangement, which facilitates civil-military cooperation in air traffic management between Indonesia and Singapore. CMAC forms part of the implementation of the 2022 Indonesia-Singapore Flight Information Region (FIR) Agreement, under which Indonesian personnel serve at the Singapore Air Traffic Control Centre (SATCC). KBRI Singapore reported in April 2026 that 10 Indonesian personnel had been assigned to the CMAC programme, while Singapore’s Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the personnel come from the Indonesian Air Force, Indonesia’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation, and AirNav Indonesia.

Against this backdrop, the introductory call provided an opportunity to reinforce coordination among the Embassy, CMAC personnel, the Defence Attaché, and the Transportation Attaché. Continued communication among these parties can help support the smooth execution of their respective duties and maintain effective cooperation in air traffic management.

The engagement reflects the Embassy’s continued efforts to maintain communication with Indonesian personnel serving in Singapore while supporting coordination with relevant stakeholders. It also adds to ongoing Indonesia-Singapore cooperation under the FIR framework.

The Embassy looks forward to continued engagement with CMAC personnel and relevant stakeholders. Through sustained communication and cooperation, Indonesia and Singapore hope to further strengthen civil-military coordination and collaboration in air traffic management.
