On 11 November 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore held a National Heroes Day commemoration ceremony. The event took place at the Indonesian Embassy, with Ambassador Suryo Pratomo serving as the ceremony’s inspector. In his leadership role, Ambassador Pratomo guided the ceremony with a sense of respect and gratitude, paying tribute to Indonesia’s heroes.
With the theme “Emulate Your Heroes, Love Your Country”, the ceremony emphasised the importance of honouring the sacrifices of Indonesia’s heroes and strengthening a sense of national pride among Indonesian citizens abroad. Members of the Indonesian community and Embassy staff joined the gathering to observe this significant day in the nation’s history.
On behalf of the Embassy, the Ambassador extended his best wishes to all Indonesians in Singapore in commemorating National Heroes Day, reinforcing a shared commitment to embodying the values of heroism and patriotism.
