A collaborative effort between Indonesia and Singapore delivered a two-week training program to enhance English proficiency and negotiation skills for civil servants, fostering stronger international cooperation.
The Government of Indonesia, represented by the Bureau of Foreign Technical Cooperation of the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg), partnered with the Government of Singapore to conduct the “Single Country Training: English for Effective Negotiation.” The program took place at the Pusat Pengembangan Kompetensi Aparatur Sipil Negara (PPKASN) Kemensetneg, located on Jalan Gaharu I No.1, South Jakarta.
Held from January 13 to 24, 2024, the training is part of the Singapore Cooperation Programme 2025 and aims to enhance negotiation skills through English proficiency. A total of 26 participants from various ministries and institutions participated in the program. These participants are expected to take on the Functional Position of Cooperation Analyst in the future.
This initiative reflects the strong bilateral cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore in capacity building and human resource development. Through this program, participants gained valuable insights and practical skills to support their roles in fostering international collaborations.itment to fostering a globally competent workforce.
