The Supreme Audit Board of Indonesia (Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia, BPK RI) and Singapore’s Auditor-General’s Office (AGO) have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration in public sector auditing.

During a high-level official visit to the AGO in Singapore, BPK Chairperson Isma Yatun, accompanied by Head of Public Relations and International Cooperation Bureau Teguh Widodo, engaged in discussions to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in auditing practices. This dialogue followed a prior meeting held on 22 August 2024 in Jakarta.

The BPK delegation was welcomed by Singapore’s Auditor-General Goh Soon Poh, alongside Deputy Auditor-General Rina Chua, Assistant Auditor-General Mabel Watt, and other key officials. The discussions focused on two primary topics: digital transformation and the use of data analytics in public procurement audits, as well as the implementation of knowledge management in financial audits.

Additionally, both parties discussed preparations for the upcoming ASEANSAI Summit, scheduled to take place in Singapore from 11 to 13 November 2025. The summit will bring together audit institutions from ASEAN member states to enhance regional audit capacity and cooperation.

BPK and AGO reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional ties and fostering synergy in public sector auditing. These efforts align with broader initiatives to improve financial accountability and transparency at both regional and global levels.
