H.E. Suryo Pratomo, along with Singapore’s Minister for Social and Family Development, Mr. Masagos Zulkifli, witnessed the signing of a halal certification cooperation agreement between the Majelis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS) and Indonesia’s Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH). The ceremony took place with MUIS represented by its Chief Executive, Mr. Kadir Maideen, and BPJPH represented by its Head, Mr. Muhammad Aqil Irham.
The signing event highlighted the significant economic value of the global halal product market, presenting opportunities for entrepreneurs from both countries. This partnership aims to enhance the certification processes and boost trade in halal products between Indonesia and Singapore.
