The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore hosted a farewell and welcome ceremony for embassy officials and Indonesian SOE representatives

The Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Suryo Pratomo, together with all the staff of the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, bid farewell to the departing and welcomed the new Indonesian BUMN officials in Singapore.

On November 1, 2024, the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, led by Ambassador Suryo Pratomo, held a farewell and welcome ceremony for officials and staff of the Indonesian Embassy, as well as representatives of Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) stationed in Singapore. Ambassador Pratomo and the embassy team bid a warm farewell to those completing their service and prepared to return to Indonesia, while also greeting incoming staff starting new roles in Singapore.

Those departing included

  • I Gusti Agung Ketut Satrya Wibawa, the Education and Cultural Attaché; 
  • Arinta, the Assistant Transportation Attaché; 
  • Defri Kurnanda, Branch Manager at Citilink;
  • Anandhitya Rhezsa Adrian, Analyst II Marketing at Pertamina International Shipping. 

The departing staff members were recognized for their contributions to strengthening Indonesia-Singapore relations and their commitment to serving Indonesian citizens abroad.

In addition, the embassy welcomed new officials, including 

  • Bianca Simatupang, the new Coordinator for Information, Social, and Cultural Affairs; 
  • Henry Soratangsu, First Secretary in the Protocol and Consular Section; and 
  • Yustia Rahma, Third Secretary in the Economic Section, among others. 

Key appointments from Indonesian SOEs were also introduced, such as Apsari Dharmesti from Bank Indonesia’s Singapore Representative Office and Daniel Leonardus Arifin from Pertamina International Shipping.

This transition underscores the embassy’s continued dedication to enhancing cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore. The new arrivals bring fresh perspectives and expertise to support the embassy’s mission and strengthen ties between the two countries.
