The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore, in collaboration with SENTRE, hosted an educational visit aimed at nurturing global awareness and academic aspirations among Indonesian students
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore, in collaboration with SENTRE, hosted an educational visit from SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo (Musasi) on 3 February 2026. The visit brought together 36 students and 7 teachers for a learning programme designed to introduce young learners to diplomacy, bilateral relations, and international education pathways.
During the session, students were given insights into the role and functions of Indonesia’s diplomatic mission in Singapore. Embassy representatives shared an overview of Indonesia–Singapore relations, highlighting cooperation in education, economy, and people-to-people exchanges, while emphasising the importance of diplomacy in addressing global challenges.

The programme also featured discussions on educational opportunities in Singapore, encouraging students to explore academic pathways beyond national borders. Through interactive presentations and dialogue, students gained a broader understanding of global education systems and the skills needed to thrive in an international environment.
Beyond academic exposure, the visit aimed to inspire students to cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning. Teachers accompanying the delegation expressed appreciation for the opportunity, noting the programme’s role in motivating students to dream bigger and develop confidence in pursuing their future goals.

The educational visit reflects the Embassy’s continued commitment to supporting youth engagement and educational diplomacy. By fostering early exposure to international perspectives, the Embassy hopes to empower Indonesian students to become globally minded individuals who contribute positively to Indonesia’s future on the world stage.
