A delegation of top Indonesian medical and health workers toured Singapore to gain insights into the country’s advanced healthcare system
A delegation of 55 exemplary medical and health workers from various government and private healthcare facilities across Indonesia embarked on a study visit to Singapore from December 10 to 13, 2024. The visit, facilitated by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, aimed to expose the healthcare professionals to Singapore’s advanced healthcare system and inspire them to elevate the quality of healthcare services in Indonesia.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, Suryo Pratomo. Ambassador Pratomo expressed his appreciation for the Ministry of Health’s initiative, highlighting its potential to enhance the professional competence of Indonesian healthcare workers and foster collaboration with leading healthcare institutions in Singapore.
During their visit, the Indonesian delegation engaged in discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions with over 20 Indonesian medical and health workers currently working in Singapore. These interactions served as a source of motivation and inspiration for the visiting healthcare professionals.
The delegation’s itinerary included visits to renowned healthcare institutions such as the National University Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. Additionally, they participated in training programs on “Effective Communication” and “Service Excellence in Healthcare” at the HMI Institute of Health Sciences Management.
