Indonesia’s embassy in Singapore invites Indonesians to relive traditional games together.
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore (KBRI Singapura) is inviting Indonesian citizens and members of the Indonesian diaspora in Singapore to take part in Tradisional Games & Competition Indonesia on 23 August 2026.
The event will take place at the embassy from 9:00 AM SGT onwards, bringing participants together for a series of traditional Indonesian competitions.
The programme will feature Tarik Tambang (tug of war), Lari Karung (sack race), Makan Kerupuk (cracker-eating competition), Jalan Zig-Zag and Balap Kelereng (marble race), giving participants the chance to revisit familiar games from Indonesia.
Those who wish to participate can register by scanning the registration QR code provided with the event announcement. The announcement also includes a separate QR code for accessing the event guidebook.
The event invites Indonesians in Singapore to relive the nostalgia and excitement of traditional games while spending time with the community.
