ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE AT THE INDONESIAN EMBASSY IN SINGAPORE, LED BY INSPECTOR GENERAL IBNU WAHYUTOMO

The Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led by Inspector General Ibnu Wahyutomo, conducted an audit of economic performance at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore. The audit aimed to assess the embassy’s financial management, adherence to regulations, and overall economic effectiveness. The audit took place during the week of March 25th, 2024, at the embassy located in Singapore.

During the audit, Inspector General Ibnu Wahyutomo outlined the objectives of the examination, emphasizing the importance of transparent and efficient economic management within diplomatic missions. The audit team reviewed financial records, budget allocations, and expenditure reports to ensure compliance with government standards and policies.

The audit process involved interviews with embassy staff, including economic and financial officers, to gather insights into operational procedures and challenges faced in economic activities. The team also assessed the embassy’s strategies for promoting economic cooperation, trade facilitation, and investment promotion between Indonesia and Singapore.

Inspector General Ibnu Wahyutomo commended the embassy’s efforts in maintaining financial transparency and accountability. He highlighted areas of strength and provided recommendations for further improvements to enhance economic performance and contribute to Indonesia’s diplomatic objectives in Singapore.
