Indonesia’s Ministry of Defence participated in Singapore’s premier cyber security event, aiming to enhance its cyber defence strategies

The Strategic Defence Installation Agency of Indonesia’s Ministry of Defence (Bainstrahan Kemhan) participated in the Singapore International Cyber Week & GovWare Conference & Exhibition 2024. The event took place from October 15th – 18th at Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore, and attracted key representatives from government and industry.

Brigadier General TNI Tri Rana Subekti, Head of Cyber and Information Defence, and Brigadier General TNI Sudaryanto, Head of Regional Operations, represented Bainstrahan Kemhan. Their objective was to gather insights that could support Indonesia’s cyber security policy-making and decision-making processes.

During the event, Mirage Defence Singapore and Singapore Technologies Engineering expressed their willingness to collaborate with Indonesia, offering support in the country’s efforts to build a strong and advanced Cyber Force within the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).

The event, themed “Securing Dynamic Digital Roadmaps: Relooking Signposts in Identity, Trust, and Resilience,” addressed key challenges and opportunities in cyber security, focusing on strategies for building trust and resilience in the face of evolving digital threats.
