The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore held a collaborative meeting with Garuda Indonesia to enhance synergy in economic and cultural cooperation
As part of efforts to strengthen synergy with Indonesian state-owned enterprises (BUMN) in Singapore, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Singapore held a strategic and collaborative meeting with the Singapore representative office of Indonesia’s national airline, Garuda Indonesia.

The meeting, attended by the Embassy’s Economic Affairs team and the Information, Social, and Cultural Affairs team, aimed to boost cooperation in economic and socio-cultural fields. This initiative seeks to expand the positive impact for the Indonesian community in Singapore and to further enhance bilateral relations between Indonesia and Singapore.
During the discussions, both parties explored several strategic initiatives to support the presence and performance of Indonesian BUMNs in the region, particularly in the aviation sector and in public service for Indonesian citizens residing in Singapore. They also identified opportunities for collaboration in cultural activities and tourism development involving the Indonesian diaspora.
Both sides agreed to develop a joint work programme that includes creative economic promotion and socio-cultural activities. This collaboration is expected to reinforce Indonesia’s position in Singapore as a strategic partner in economic development and social-cultural exchange.
