This year’s conference, held under the theme “Power of You: Force for Humanity”, highlighted the importance of solidarity, compassion, and global collaboration in advancing humanitarian causes. The event coincided with Singapore’s 60th year of independence and the 75th anniversary of the Singapore Red Cross, providing a platform for volunteers and humanitarian leaders to share experiences, strengthen networks, and reaffirm collective commitments.

For PMI, the award reinforced its role as a national humanitarian institution that continues to broaden its international partnerships. Through cross-border collaboration, Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to improving access to humanitarian aid across ASEAN and beyond, ensuring faster, fairer, and more sustainable responses in times of crisis.

The SRC Awards aimed to honour key partners who demonstrated strong commitment to building international solidarity and emergency response capacity. The recognition also reflected the close bilateral ties between Indonesia and Singapore, particularly in the field of humanitarian cooperation.
