Singapore, 15 October 2025 – Indonesia has made a strong impression at ITB Asia 2025, one of the region’s most prestigious travel trade events, with the official opening of the Indonesian Pavilion by Mr Thomas Ardian Siregar, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore. The ceremony was also attended by Mr Dedi Ahmad Kurnia, Assistant Deputy for International Tourism Marketing I at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, and Ms Helma Dahlia, Secretary of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency of DKI Jakarta Province.

The Embassy of Indonesia in Singapore, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), brought together 16 travel agents and tour operators (TA/TO) under one roof to expand business networks, strengthen destination promotion, and foster new international partnerships. The exhibition runs from 15 to 17 October 2025 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
Adding to Indonesia’s strong presence, the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Office is also participating independently through its dedicated “Visit Jakarta” booth. The showcase promotes Jakarta’s appeal as a premier urban tourism hub and leading MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination in Southeast Asia. This effort underscores the local government’s commitment to enhancing the city’s global tourism branding and positioning Jakarta as a vibrant destination for culture, events, and business tourism.
This year’s ITB Asia marks a record-breaking milestone with its expansion to five exhibition halls, the largest edition since its inception. Under the theme “Future Forward: Transforming Travel & Tourism in a Changing World,” the event features more than 1,500 top buyers, a 7% increase from 2024.
The event reinforces Singapore’s position as a global hub for the travel industry while providing Indonesia with a valuable platform to showcase its diverse destinations and tourism potential to the international market.
