THE OCCASION RECOGNISED SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS AND REAFFIRMED COOPERATION IN SUPPORTING THE PLACEMENT OF INDONESIAN NURSES IN SINGAPORE.
The Chargé d’Affaires of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore conveyed his appreciation and best wishes to nine recipients of the Asian Nursing Scholarship during a meeting held in Singapore on 8 January 2026.
During the event, the Chargé d’Affaires expressed pride in the recipients and encouraged them to successfully complete the scholarship programme and pursue professional nursing careers in Singapore. The gathering also acknowledged the importance of partnerships that support the development and placement of skilled healthcare professionals.
Appreciation was extended to Mr Law Boon Meng, Chief Executive Officer of Talent Angel Pte. Ltd., for his strong and sustained cooperation, particularly in facilitating the placement of Indonesian nurses in Singapore and supporting the implementation of the Asian Nursing Scholarship scheme. Looking ahead, both sides expressed hope that in 2026 and the coming years, more Indonesian nurses will work in Singapore as skilled professionals, either through direct placement or via the scholarship programme.
