Long-term partnership improves healthcare access for Kowloon Club members
Singapore Medical Group (SMG) has partnered with the Kowloon Club Singapore to expand healthcare access for its members through a long-term collaboration covering preventive care, specialist referrals and wellness services. The partnership is designed to provide Kowloon Club members with a more convenient and integrated healthcare experience in Singapore.
Under the collaboration, members will have access to comprehensive health screenings, dental care, wellness and aesthetic services, together with seamless referrals to specialists across the SMG network. The initiative will be introduced in phases, beginning with comprehensive health screening programmes before expanding to additional services, including dental care.
Kowloon Club Singapore President Ms Ha Yu Hao said the partnership was developed in response to members’ feedback, particularly from newer arrivals from Hong Kong seeking guidance on accessing healthcare and specialist services in Singapore.
“We hope to provide healthcare support tailored to members of different age groups and needs, rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach. This is a long-term collaboration that will be introduced in stages,” Ms Ha said.
Founded in 1990, the Kowloon Club has evolved from helping Hong Kong migrants settle in Singapore to providing practical support that reflects the changing needs of its members. In recent years, the club has welcomed a younger membership, with many new members coming from Hong Kong’s financial sector.
The healthcare partnership forms part of the club’s broader efforts to strengthen member benefits through strategic collaborations. By improving access to preventive healthcare, specialist care and medical guidance, the initiative aims to make healthcare services more accessible for members and their families living in Singapore.
As additional services are introduced, Singapore Medical Group and the Kowloon Club Singapore aim to provide more comprehensive healthcare support while advancing the club’s goal of delivering practical, long-term benefits to its community.
