CITADINES SUDIRMAN JAKARTA FEATURES CHELSEA MEMORABILIA, MATCHDAY-INSPIRED INTERIORS AND COMMUNITY-FOCUSED LIFESTYLE ACTIVITIES.
The IndoConnect team recently stayed at Citadines Sudirman Jakarta and had the opportunity to experience one of its most talked-about rooms on social media: The Chelsea Bridge Suite.
Hosted by Mr. Hairil Mukhlis, General Manager of Citadines Sudirman Jakarta and Citadines Gatot Subroto Jakarta, and Ms. Delia Oktaviani, Marketing & Branding Manager, we checked in to discover why the suite has been attracting attention on @citadinessudirmanjkt.

Not Just a Suite, It’s Chelsea
From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that this was Chelsea in Jakarta. The suite is decorated in the club’s iconic blue, from its feature walls and soft furnishings to its ambient lighting.
As we learned, this is Asia’s first Chelsea-themed hotel suite, launched as part of The Famous CFC Jakarta, Chelsea Football Club’s international fan event presented by Ascott. The launch took place on 29–30 November 2025 and was led by former England international and Chelsea club captain Gary Cahill.

Mr. Hairil Mukhlis shared:
“We wanted to create more than a themed room. The Chelsea Bridge Suite is about bringing the Stamford Bridge matchday emotion to Jakarta. The idea was launched together with our partners at Chelsea Football Club during The Famous CFC Jakarta. Having a legend like Gary Cahill unveil it made it truly special for fans in Indonesia.”
The suite lives up to that promise. Inside, we found framed autographs, Chelsea memorabilia and a signed jersey displayed as part of the unveiling. Together, these details celebrate the club’s history, from legendary players to iconic matches, bringing the atmosphere of Stamford Bridge into the heart of Jakarta.
The View and the Experience

Located on the 32nd floor of The Newton 1 Tower at Ciputra World 2, the suite offers stunning, uninterrupted views of Jakarta’s skyline, creating a striking backdrop to its blue-themed interiors. Its two-bedroom layout is ideal for fans, families and friends looking to watch a match together, with enhanced audio-visual elements designed to recreate the excitement of a stadium experience.
Beyond the suite, Citadines Sudirman Jakarta offers a contemporary serviced residence in the heart of the capital’s central business district. Strategically situated within the prestigious Newton 1 Tower, the property provides convenient access to key commercial and lifestyle destinations, making it suitable for both short visits and extended stays. The development is also EDGE-certified, reflecting its commitment to more sustainable building practices.
The property features 253 modern apartments, ranging from Studio to Two-Bedroom layouts. Each is thoughtfully designed with spacious interiors, fully equipped kitchens, complimentary Wi-Fi and contemporary furnishings that balance comfort with functionality.

Guests can also enjoy a range of facilities, including a restaurant and breakfast lounge, swimming pool with a separate children’s pool, fitness centre, spa, meeting rooms and self-service launderette. Supported by 24-hour guest services, these amenities cater to the needs of business travellers, families and leisure guests alike.

For those looking to combine relaxation with productivity, the hotel’s coffee facilities and meeting rooms provide welcoming spaces for informal conversations and professional gatherings. These offerings complement the property’s serviced-apartment concept, allowing guests to enjoy the comforts of home while remaining connected to the city.

Comfort with a Conscious Touch
Beyond its accommodation and lifestyle offerings, Citadines Sudirman Jakarta places emphasis on guest wellbeing and environmental responsibility.
The property incorporates energy-efficient technologies, including LED lighting and a variable refrigerant volume (VRV) cooling system, alongside an advanced air filtration system throughout the property. Amid growing concerns about Jakarta’s air quality, the filtration system is designed to support a cleaner and healthier indoor environment, contributing to a more comfortable stay for residents and travellers.
With accessible facilities, security measures and an electric vehicle charging station, Citadines Sudirman Jakarta offers urban convenience, modern comfort and more sustainable living practices.
More Than Football: A Community Lifestyle
But Citadines is not just about football. As Mr. Hairil added:
“Activ8 is about encouraging people to make movement and wellbeing part of their everyday lifestyle, while creating opportunities to connect with the people and communities around them. Whether through gym sessions, Pilates, rooftop yoga or a padel gathering, we want Citadines to be a gateway to experiencing the city, its people and its lifestyle.”
That community spirit is visible across the property’s social media channels, from wellness activities and family Playcation packages to its Treasure Lane and Gold Lane Bazaars, which support local businesses.

These initiatives reflect a broader approach to hospitality, where accommodation extends beyond a place to sleep and becomes an opportunity to engage with the local community, explore new interests and enjoy a more active lifestyle.
Staying in The Chelsea Bridge Suite brings together the thrill of Chelsea football, the comforts of a modern serviced residence and Citadines’ For the Love of Cities philosophy. Whether visiting Jakarta for a football-inspired getaway, a family holiday or a business trip, guests can enjoy a stay that combines distinctive character with everyday convenience.
