The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, in collaboration with PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, presented the Wonderful Indonesia buffet, offering a rich culinary and cultural experience. The event took place at Peppermint Restaurant, where guests indulged in authentic Indonesian flavours while enjoying a performance of the Plate Dance from West Sumatra.

The traditional Plate Dance, known as Tari Piring, captivated diners with its graceful movements and intricate footwork. Originating from West Sumatra, the dance symbolises prosperity and gratitude, with performers skilfully balancing plates in their hands as they moved in rhythm.
This initiative was part of the embassy’s ongoing efforts to promote Indonesian culture and strengthen cultural ties between Indonesia and Singapore. The combination of traditional cuisine and live performance provided an immersive experience, offering guests a deeper appreciation of Indonesia’s diverse heritage.

The Wonderful Indonesia buffet at Peppermint Restaurant showcased a variety of Indonesian dishes, highlighting the rich and diverse culinary traditions of the archipelago.
