BP Batam visited KBRI Singapore to discuss investment opportunities and collaborations between Batam and Singapore.
On November 14, 2024, the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore (KBRI Singapura) hosted a delegation from the Batam Indonesia Free Zone Authority (BP Batam), led by Alexander Zulkarnain, Member for Administration and Finance. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Ambassador of Indonesia to Singapore, Sulistijo Djati Ismojo.
The visit aimed to explore avenues for collaboration and investment opportunities between Batam and Singapore. Discussions covered updates on Singapore’s investments in various industrial sectors in Batam and potential synergies between BP Batam and KBRI Singapore to further enhance investment flows and drive development in Batam and its surrounding areas.
BP Batam also engaged with the Economic Function Team of KBRI Singapore and the Indonesia Investment Promotion Center (IIPC) Singapore during the meeting. Together, they delved into strategic approaches to leverage Singapore’s investment potential to strengthen Batam’s position as a key economic hub.
