Indonesian airline Transnusa relocates all Singapore operations to Changi Airport Terminal 4.
Indonesian airline PT Transnusa Aviation Mandiri (Transnusa) moved all flight operations to and from Singapore to Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 4 on September 1, 2026, as part of its strategy to improve passenger service and support its expanding international network.
The relocation means all Transnusa flights serving Singapore now operate through Terminal 4. The airline said the move will give passengers a more convenient and efficient airport experience through the terminal’s digital services.
Transnusa Group CEO Datuk Bernard Francis said the airline wants improvements in the customer experience to keep pace with the growth of its international network.
“Travel does not begin when the aircraft takes off, but when customers arrive at the airport,” Mr. Francis said in Jakarta on Monday.
Terminal 4 uses technology across several stages of the departure process, including automated check-in, automated bag drop, biometric immigration and automated boarding. These services are designed to streamline passenger processing and reduce the need for manual procedures.
The terminal also offers restaurants, retail outlets, duty-free shops and other commercial facilities, giving passengers additional options while waiting for their flights.
After arriving at or departing from Changi, passengers can continue to major areas of Singapore, including Marina Bay, Orchard Road, Sentosa and the Central Business District, through the city’s integrated transport network.
The relocation forms part of Transnusa’s broader international expansion as a Premium Service Carrier. The airline currently operates international services connecting Singapore with destinations including Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Subang, Bangkok, Phuket, Guangzhou and Perth, alongside its domestic network in Indonesia.
Mr. Francis said network expansion should go hand in hand with consistent improvements in service quality.
“Expanding our network is not only about opening more destinations. It is equally important to ensure every customer experiences better service on every journey,” he said.
With the relocation now in effect, Transnusa has advised passengers travelling to or from Singapore to check their booking and airport information before departure.
The move marks another step in the Indonesian airline’s international expansion, bringing its growing network together with a more streamlined airport experience for passengers.
