Healthcare acquisition strengthens integrated care across Asia-Pacific
Singapore-based Fullerton Health has completed its acquisition of PT Administrasi Medika (AdMedika) and subsidiary TelkoMedika from TelkomMetra, a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The acquisition strengthens Fullerton Health’s integrated healthcare platform and expands its regional healthcare network across Asia-Pacific.
The acquisition brings one of Indonesia’s leading healthcare administrators into Fullerton Health’s integrated healthcare platform, enhancing its capabilities across provider network integration, digital claims management and patient care. AdMedika’s technology-enabled platform is expected to improve efficiency, transparency and care coordination as healthcare utilisation continues to increase and claims management becomes more complex.
Mr. Ho Kuen Loon, Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Fullerton Health, said the acquisition reflects the company’s long-term commitment to Indonesia and supports its strategy of building a scaled, integrated healthcare platform to meet the country’s evolving healthcare needs.
Mr. Pramasaleh Haryo Utomo, President Director of TelkomMetra, said the transaction positions AdMedika for its next phase of growth by providing access to Fullerton Health’s regional healthcare expertise and broader healthcare ecosystem while preserving the strong foundation the company has built.
The acquisition also strengthens Fullerton Health’s regional connectivity. The group operates more than 600 healthcare facilities, works with over 32,000 healthcare providers and supports more than 8 million people across seven Asia-Pacific markets. The broader network is expected to strengthen cross-border healthcare access and specialist referral pathways.
Following completion of the transaction, AdMedika and TelkoMedika will continue operating under their existing brands and local leadership. Fullerton Health said services for patients, corporate clients and healthcare partners will continue without disruption, while employees will gain access to broader professional development opportunities. Health and claims data will remain managed locally in accordance with applicable regulations.
Ms. Dian Prambini, Chief Executive Officer of AdMedika Group, said the partnership with Fullerton Health will strengthen the company’s integrated healthcare platform, deepen provider and client partnerships, and deliver higher-quality and more reliable services. The acquisition marks a new chapter for both organisations, reinforcing their shared focus on strengthening integrated healthcare services and supporting greater regional connectivity across Asia.
