A vibrant cultural appreciation night brought together the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore and NUS students, fostering deeper cultural understanding and strengthening academic collaboration
The Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore, the Directorate of Education of the Indonesian Embassy, and students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) organise a cultural appreciation night. The event served as a meaningful platform to showcase Indonesia’s cultural richness while engaging young participants in deeper dialogue and learning.

The event opened with a cultural dialogue session that highlighted Indonesia’s diverse traditions, values, and historical narratives. Representatives from the Embassy shared the role of cultural diplomacy in bridging communities and strengthening regional relationships, emphasising the importance of youth involvement in cultural exchange.
Artistic performances added vibrancy to the programme, offering attendees a closer look at Indonesia’s dynamic cultural expressions. The performances not only celebrated the country’s artistic heritage but also created a warm and engaging atmosphere that encouraged appreciation and curiosity among the students.

Interactive discussions and exchanges throughout the night further enriched the experience. Students and Embassy representatives engaged in conversations that expanded perspectives and fostered stronger people-to-people connections—an essential component of long-term bilateral cooperation.
