Continuing its long-standing participation, Indonesia showcased its creative strength at Singapore Comic Con 2025 through its largest pavilion to date, highlighting local intellectual property and cross-sector collaboration
Continuing its regular participation over the past several years, Indonesia once again took part in Singapore Comic Con (SGCC) 2025, held from 5 to 8 December at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Singapore. SGCC is recognised as one of Asia’s largest platforms for comics, animation, and pop culture, bringing together creators, industry players, and fans from across the region.

At SGCC 2025, Indonesia recorded a milestone with its largest participation to date, featuring a 144-square-metre pavilion and more than 20 local IP creators. This initiative was the result of a collaboration between the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore, the Ministry of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, the Jakarta Provincial Office of Tourism and Creative Economy, and the Indonesian Comic Association (AKSI).
The Indonesia Pavilion showcased a wide range of creative works, including comics, animation, character-based IP, illustrations, and creative merchandise. These works reflected the richness of Indonesian narratives and the diversity of talent within the country’s creative ecosystem, offering international audiences a comprehensive view of Indonesia’s creative potential.

The Indonesia Pavilion was officially inaugurated on 6 December 2025 by the Deputy Chief of Mission of Indonesia in Singapore, Thomas Ardian Siregar, alongside the Director of Publishing and Photography at the Ministry of Creative Economy, Iman Santosa, and the Secretary General of AKSI, Rizqi Mosmarth.
Beyond SGCC 2025, Indonesia also participated in another flagship creative economy event in Singapore, the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) 2025, held from 2 to 5 December. Indonesia’s involvement in ATF 2025 marked its inaugural participation, with a delegation from the film and television industry aiming to explore opportunities for content collaboration, distribution, and creative investment across the region.
