
A delegation from the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore and Garuda Indonesia Group visited Changi Airport Group on 10 September 2025 to discuss technical matters and benchmark best practices
A working visit to Changi Airport Group (CAG) was carried out on 10 September 2025 by the Transport Attaché and Finance/Customs Attaché of the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, together with representatives from Garuda Indonesia Group.
The meeting addressed a number of key technical aspects, including cargo handling, slot management, the transition of check-in systems, and passenger baggage screening. The discussions aimed to explore ways to enhance operational efficiency and improve aviation services between Indonesia and Singapore.

During the visit, the Finance Attaché also conducted benchmarking on operational details at Changi, focusing particularly on lead time efficiency. Changi’s consistent recognition as the World’s Best Airport was noted as a benchmark for service excellence and operational standards.
The visit was regarded as a concrete step towards strengthening bilateral aviation cooperation, improving passenger services, and opening wider opportunities for air transport synergy between Indonesia and Singapore.
