The Singapore Embassy welcomed the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) DKI Jakarta to discuss collaborative opportunities in research, education, and institutional exchanges, fostering mutual understanding on religious moderation and tolerance.

The Singapore Embassy was honoured to host representatives from the Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) DKI Jakarta on Wednesday, 19th June. The meeting, held at the Singapore embassy in Jakarta, focused on exploring potential areas of cooperation between the two entities. Discussions revolved around enhancing collaboration in research initiatives, educational partnerships, and institutional exchanges.

During the visit, both parties engaged in constructive dialogues aimed at strengthening bilateral ties in areas of mutual interest. The Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) DKI Jakarta delegation expressed keen interest in learning from Singapore’s experiences in various fields, including education and religious studies.
