Top Indonesian financial authorities outlined the nation’s financial policy and industry developments to investors and economists in Singapore
ON Monday, August 12, 2024, Mr. Mirza Adityaswara, Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and Mr. Suahasil Nazara, Vice Minister of Finance of Indonesia, conveyed an update on Indonesia’s financial services industry and financial policy direction. The presentation was delivered to a diverse audience of investors, private equity professionals, and real-sector business leaders, along with economists from various organisations and think tanks in Singapore.
The event took place at the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore, where key financial policymakers shared insights on the current state and future prospects of Indonesia’s financial landscape. Mr. Adityaswara and Mr. Nazara discussed the strategic approaches being undertaken by the OJK and the Ministry of Finance to ensure stability and growth in the financial sector.
Additionally, the meeting was attended by the Director-General of Budget Financing and Risk Management and the Head of the Fiscal Policy Agency from Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance.
