A collaborative showcase by the Indonesian Embassy and Ministry of Tourism invites Singaporeans to discover the archipelago’s rich cultural and sustainable travel experiences
Singapore, 15–17 August 2025 – Indonesia has made a bold and vibrant statement at the NATAS Holidays 2025 Travel Fair, unveiling an expansive pavilion at Singapore Expo Halls 5 and 6. Presented through a strategic collaboration between the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore and Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism, the showcase represents a renewed commitment to strengthening tourism ties and cultural engagement with Singapore.

The pavilion was officially opened by Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Suryo Pratomo, together with Ms. Ni Made Ayu Marthini, Deputy for Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Their presence at the launch underscored the growing importance of bilateral tourism relations and the shared vision of positioning Indonesia as a premier travel destination for Singaporean holidaymakers.
Designed to capture the imagination, the Indonesian Pavilion offers a curated experience of the archipelago’s top travel destinations, from the lush landscapes of Bali and the dramatic vistas of Labuan Bajo to the cultural heartlands of Yogyakarta and West Sumatra. Visitors were treated to immersive multimedia presentations, travel deals, and interactive sessions showcasing Indonesia’s diverse regions and hospitality.
In addition to natural beauty, the pavilion shines a spotlight on Indonesia’s thriving creative economy. Featuring local brands, cultural performances, and iconic IP characters, the exhibit illustrates how tourism and creativity intersect to form a dynamic, modern identity for the nation, one that celebrates both tradition and innovation.
The participation at NATAS 2025 marks a significant milestone in Indonesia’s tourism diplomacy, especially as the two nations commemorate Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day and Singapore’s 60th year of nationhood. It is a timely gesture of goodwill and collaboration, aiming to not only boost visitor numbers but also cultivate deeper people-to-people connections.
Through this initiative, Indonesia sends a clear message: it is ready to welcome the world with open arms, offering sustainable, culturally rich, and unforgettable travel experiences just across the strait.
