Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI), the venture capital arm of Bank Mandiri, highlighted its digital service innovations Livin’ & Kopra at the Mandiri Innovation Hub, held during the Singapore Fintech Festival 2024. The event, attended by prominent global companies including VISA, JP Morgan, and AI Rudder, showcased Indonesia’s digital banking advancements to the international market.
Tri Nugroho, General Manager & Country Head of Bank Mandiri Singapore, explained that the Mandiri Innovation Hub aims to introduce local innovation potential to the ASEAN regional stage. In a statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday, he emphasized Bank Mandiri’s commitment to supporting digital transformation and expanding financial solutions across Southeast Asia and beyond. He highlighted that, as the international branch of Bank Mandiri based in Singapore—a global business hub—the company is dedicated to driving digital transformation and enhancing access to inclusive financial solutions across Southeast Asia and international markets.
The Mandiri Innovation Hub also featured a business matchmaking program, connecting startups specializing in artificial intelligence, renewable energy, waste management, fraud detection, and cross-border payments with various business units within the Mandiri Group ecosystem. The initiative provided an opportunity to share insights on the latest technologies driving digital transformation in Indonesia’s financial sector.
Ronald Simorangkir, CEO of Mandiri Capital Indonesia, expressed optimism that the Mandiri Innovation Hub would enhance banking accessibility and inclusivity. He noted that the event represented a significant milestone for both Bank Mandiri and Mandiri Capital Indonesia.
