The onboarding event marked the official commencement of PPIS XX: Kabinet Melaju and strengthened ties between Indonesian students and diplomatic representatives in Singapore
Indonesian Students’ Association in Singapore (PPIS) held its Onboarding 2026 at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore on 31 January 2026, marking the official start of PPIS XX: Kabinet Melaju.
Led by Meylia Grace Jacquiline Ng, the newly formed committee introduced themselves to representatives of the Indonesian Embassy, signalling the beginning of their term and outlining their collective vision under the Kabinet Melaju leadership.
The event provided an opportunity for PPIS committee members to engage directly with embassy representatives, fostering mutual understanding and reinforcing collaboration between Indonesian students in Singapore and Indonesia’s diplomatic mission.
Following the formal introductions, participants took part in a bonding session, aimed at strengthening internal cohesion within the committee while encouraging open communication and teamwork ahead of the upcoming organisational programmes.
The onboarding reflected PPIS’s continued commitment to leadership development, community building, and diplomatic engagement, in line with its role as a platform for Indonesian students to contribute positively to bilateral relations and social progress.
