IIPC Singapore Director Andria Buchara highlights Indonesia’s strategic focus on downstream industries and regional collaboration at a high-level panel discussion.
On 20 November 2024, the Process Innovation Asia Pacific 2024 event at Singapore Expo brought together industry leaders and policymakers to discuss advancements in the process industry. Director of IIPC Singapore, Andria Buchara, delivered a keynote presentation focusing on Indonesia’s transformative efforts in the process industry, with an emphasis on the nation’s push toward downstream industries. The presentation outlined Indonesia’s vision as a global hub for innovation, emphasising sustainability, technological breakthroughs, and strategic investment opportunities.
The event also featured a panel discussion titled “Outlook of Southeast Asia’s Process Industry”, where representatives from Malaysia, Thailand, Europe, and IIPC Singapore exchanged insights on collaboration, regulatory developments, and strategies to ensure sustainable regional growth. Panellists stressed the importance of ASEAN-wide cooperation to foster resilience and shared development in the process industry.
The discussions underscored Indonesia’s pivotal role in Southeast Asia’s industrial transformation, showcasing the country’s growing influence and commitment to advancing innovation and sustainability in the region.
