
PWKI Sulawesi Selatan met with the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore to discuss the strategic role of women in national development
The Indonesian Christian Women’s Association (PWKI) Sulawesi Selatan conducted an audience with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Singapore at the Adinata Room on 29 April 2025. The visit formed part of their commitment to strengthening the role of women in Indonesia’s nation-building efforts.
The delegation sought guidance, input, and messages from the Ambassador regarding the strategic roles that women’s organisations, such as PWKI, could assume amid the current social, economic, and national dynamics in Indonesia. The discussion reflected the organisation’s dedication to contributing positively to the country’s progress.
The audience was also intended to serve as a bridge to enhance synergy between the Indonesian government and community organisations. The meeting particularly emphasised the importance of supporting women’s greater strategic involvement in various areas of national development.
