For 40 years, the Penang Hawkers’ Fare at White Rose Café has delighted diners with the authentic tastes of Malaysia’s famed street food culture. Held at York Hotel Singapore, this much-anticipated annual showcase returns from 13 to 29 March 2026, inviting guests to skip the travel and indulge in Penang’s most-loved favourites right in the heart of Singapore.
Available for lunch (12 pm to 2.30 pm) and dinner (6.30 pm to 10 pm), the à la carte buffet menu features crowd-pleasers such as Char Kway Teow stir-fried over roaring flames, fragrant Penang Laksa, crispy Roti Canai, and refreshing Ice Kachang. Each dish pays tribute to the rich culinary heritage of George Town, bringing together bold spices, time-honoured recipes and the unmistakable ‘wok hei’ that defines authentic hawker fare.

In celebration of this milestone, diners who spend S$200 in a single receipt can participate in the “Twist, Turn & Win” instant draw. Attractive prizes and limited-edition Penang Hawkers’ Fare collectibles await lucky winners, adding a festive touch to this anniversary edition. The Penang Hawkers’ Fare is priced at S$38 per adult and S$23 per child (aged five to 11) from Mondays to Thursdays, and S$42 per adult and S$27 per child on Fridays, weekends and public holidays, subject to service charge and GST. Beyond individual dining, the event also presents an appealing option for corporate functions and social gatherings, with exclusive use of a function room (for 50 to 80 persons), LCD projector facilities, and carpark coupons for up to 50 per cent of confirmed attendance, subject to availability.
