The 10th Information and Communication Joint Commission (ICJC) meeting, held on 22nd July 2024, focused on digital cooperation through the establishment of three working groups
THE Economic and Trade Function and the Information and Communication Unit of the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, along with the Delegation from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, participated in the “10th Information and Communication Joint Commission Indonesia-Singapore” meeting on July 22nd, 2024. The meeting took place in Singapore and was chaired by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
The ICJC meetings are held regularly between Indonesia and Singapore to address various challenges and opportunities in the digital technology sector. These meetings aim to strengthen bilateral relations and promote collaborative efforts in this rapidly evolving field.
On this occasion, ICJC has launched three working groups to discuss digital cooperation in a focused manner, namely WG on Data, WG on Digital Inclusion and Skills and WG on Digital Start Ups. In the future, it is hoped that the three working groups can become a discussion forum to explore opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, especially in the digital sector.
