AMONG the designers from the ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase (AFDS), Terry Yeo from Singapore presented an exclusive collection at the JF3 Fashion Festival 2024, held at Summarecon Mall Serpong, Tangerang, on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Terry Yeo presented 20 outfits in a collection titled “Semula,” which emphasised sustainability and eco-friendliness.
Chairman of JF3, Mr. Soegianto Nagaria, stated that the participation of the designers from AFDS in JF3 was a result of their collaboration. “JF3 is not just an event; it is a mature and comprehensive ecosystem that supports fashion industry players,” he said.
The collaboration also strengthened international fashion cooperation, involving designers and fashion experts from France, the WSN association, and Southeast Asian designers through AFDS.
“We hope that in the future, JF3 will collaborate with even more parties. This will make international relations more tangible,” Soegianto added.
Ms. Theresia Mareta, Advisor of JF3, expressed hope for increased international cooperation in the fashion sector to open doors for the broader development of Indonesia’s fashion industry.
Founder of AFDS, Mr. Hayden Ng, stated that AFDS and JF3 are united by a shared commitment to promoting fashion innovation and business development, aiming to drive transformative change in the industry.
