Through its contemporary Broadway-like execution, Hikayat Inai: The Crying Stone demonstrated how Indonesian folklore can resonate with a global audience.

Since its establishment in 2017, Nuansa Cultural Productions has consistently provided a platform for Indonesian students in Singapore to express their artistic talents. Beyond entertainment, the group’s productions aim to educate international audiences on Indonesian values, traditions, and local wisdom.

With Hikayat Inai, Indonesia’s young diaspora once again proved the power of art as a bridge for cross-cultural understanding and a tool for strengthening Indonesia’s cultural presence abroad.
