
Indonesia and Singapore explore data centre development and digital infrastructure cooperation
The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore received a delegation comprising Dian Siswarini, Honorary Director of Telkom Indonesia, representatives from Indonesia’s Ministry of Communications and Digital, and the Chief Executive Officer of NeutraDC Singapore. The meeting focused on strengthening the digital ecosystem and advancing data centre development in Singapore in support of Indonesia–Singapore digital cooperation.

The engagement formed part of ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral collaboration in digital infrastructure and technology investment. Discussions centred on reinforcing cross-border interconnectivity and exploring opportunities for infrastructure collaboration aligned with Indonesia’s digital transformation agenda.

During the meeting, participants exchanged views on the role of data centres in supporting regional digital growth and improving connectivity between the two countries. Emphasis was placed on strengthening infrastructure resilience, enhancing digital competitiveness, and fostering technology-driven investments within the Indonesia–Singapore partnership framework.
The discussion also addressed the alignment of digital ecosystem development with broader sustainability objectives, including support for the green economy and environmentally responsible infrastructure solutions.
The Ambassador reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to promoting cooperation with strategic partners in Singapore to accelerate digital transformation and enhance regional connectivity. The meeting concluded with a shared understanding to pursue further engagement in strengthening digital infrastructure and cross-country interconnectivity in line with mutual economic and technological priorities.
