FOLLOWING EID PRAYERS, INDONESIAN AND SINGAPOREAN COMMUNITIES, ALONG WITH 20 AMBASSADORS FROM FRIENDLY NATIONS GATHERED FOR A FESTIVE HALAL BI HALAL EVENT AT THE INDONESIAN EMBASSY IN SINGAPORE.

After performing Eid prayers, attendees took turns participating in halal bi halal, a tradition of seeking forgiveness and fostering unity, with Indonesian Ambassador Suryo Pratomo and his wife Noeri Widowati, as well as Deputy Ambassador Sulistijo Djati Ismojo and his wife Irawati. To evoke the spirit of Eid al-Fitr in Indonesia, attendees enjoyed traditional dishes such as ketupat, rendang, and opor ayam. The presence of Sofyan Djalil, former Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning, and Air Marshal (Ret.) Ian Santoso Halim Perdanakusuma, former Head of Strategic Intelligence Agency of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, added significance to the occasion.

Twenty ambassadors and deputy ambassadors from friendly nations also joined Indonesian and Singaporean communities in this halal bi halal event. The event fostered camaraderie among attendees from various nations, including the Netherlands, Ukraine, Thailand, Venezuela, Colombia, Japan, China, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, Jordan, Russia, Estonia, Argentina, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Brunei Darussalam, and Myanmar, who gathered for three hours to celebrate friendship that transcends the boundaries of religion, race, and country.
