Singapore, 26 August 2025 – The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore marked a historic milestone with a Diplomatic Reception themed “Next Chapter, New Level”, commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence. The celebration, held at the iconic Flower Field Hall, Flower Dome, Gardens by the Bay, brought together leaders, diplomats, and partners in an evening that highlighted both history and future aspirations.

The Guest of Honour, Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore, joined senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, business leaders, academics, and Indonesia’s strategic partners. Their presence reflected the deep-rooted friendship and strong bilateral ties between Indonesia and Singapore.

In his address, the Ambassador of Indonesia to Singapore reflected on the significance of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Anniversary as a moment to honour resilience and progress. He underlined the importance of elevating cooperation with Singapore, noting that the theme “Next Chapter, New Level” represents a shared ambition to advance the Indonesia–Singapore partnership into a more comprehensive, inclusive, and forward-looking collaboration.
