On December 13, 2024, the Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore, Mr. Djati Ismojo, joined representatives from other APEC member embassies at the Roundtable on the Outcomes of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week 2024. The event was held at the APEC Secretariat in Singapore and served as a platform to disseminate the latest developments and achievements from APEC Peru 2024.
This year, APEC successfully produced 20 significant documents aimed at guiding member economies toward enhanced regional cooperation. Key outcomes focused on fostering a trade-friendly environment, leveraging regional economic integration, and driving growth through technology and innovation. These strategies aim to stimulate business innovation, create job opportunities, and improve the quality of life across Asia-Pacific. Additionally, APEC emphasized supporting the transition from informal to formal economies to promote sustainable economic development.
