The Indonesian Embassy in Singapore held a badminton tournament to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, with participation from the Indonesian community and diaspora in Singapore
As part of the celebration of the 79th anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore organised a badminton tournament on October 12nd, 2024. The event took place at the Indonesian School Singapore (SIS) Hall, drawing members of the Indonesian community and diaspora living in Singapore.
The tournament was officially opened by the Deputy Ambassador of Indonesia, Mr. Djati Ismojo. In his remarks, he expressed his support for the event and conveyed his hopes for the continued progress and success of TNI, especially in safeguarding Indonesia’s leadership succession. His speech highlighted the importance of TNI’s role in Indonesia’s stability and development.
The tournament featured both adult and youth doubles categories, with participants from various segments of the Indonesian population in Singapore. It provided an opportunity for community engagement and strengthened the bond between the embassy and the Indonesian diaspora.
