THE GATHERING HIGHLIGHTED CULTURAL EXCHANGE AND PEOPLE-TO-PEOPLE TIES, WITH DANCE SERVING AS A BRIDGE FOR DIALOGUE AND FRIENDSHIP.
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore (KBRI Singapore) received participants of the Rhythm of Asia Dance Competition on 9 January 2026. The audience was held at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore as part of ongoing efforts to promote cultural exchange and regional understanding.
During the event, the embassy welcomed dancers from different backgrounds, emphasising the role of the performing arts in fostering dialogue, mutual understanding and cross-cultural friendship. Dance was highlighted as a shared cultural language that brings together communities across national boundaries.
The engagement reflected Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening people-to-people ties with Singapore and the wider region through cultural diplomacy and artistic collaboration.
