A group of Indonesian high school students visited the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore to learn about diplomacy, bilateral relations, and services for citizens abroad
The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore recently welcomed students from SMAIT Nur Hikmah on an educational visit. The programme offered a valuable opportunity for young Indonesians to gain first-hand insights into the work of the embassy and the role it plays in representing Indonesia overseas.
During the visit, the students were introduced to the various functions of the embassy, including its diplomatic activities and services provided to Indonesian citizens living in Singapore. Through interactive dialogue and learning sessions, the students were able to engage directly with embassy staff and broaden their understanding of Indonesia–Singapore relations.
The embassy highlighted the importance of such visits in strengthening national pride among the younger generation. The initiative was seen as a way to foster greater awareness of Indonesia’s role on the global stage while cultivating a deeper sense of patriotism among the students.
