Held in Singapore, the fair served as a significant platform to strengthen cross-sector collaboration between entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the halal and creative industries from both Indonesia and Singapore. It brought together business leaders, policymakers, and innovators to explore emerging market trends, opportunities for investment, and ways to foster inclusive economic growth through innovation and creativity.

In his opening remarks, Mr Siregar highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting mutual growth, cultural exchange, and sustainable partnerships between Indonesia and Singapore. He emphasised that the halal and creative sectors are key drivers of economic diversification and hold immense potential for expanding bilateral trade.

The event’s first panel session, titled “Strengthening Singapore–Indonesia Trade Ties in the Halal and Creative Sectors,” featured Mr Billy Anugrah, Trade Attaché of KBRI Singapore, as one of the panellists. He discussed the growing opportunities for trade and investment collaboration between the two nations, particularly in halal products, creative design, digital media, and cultural enterprises.

By combining the strengths of Indonesia’s vibrant creative economy and Singapore’s dynamic business ecosystem, the Halal Creative Fair 2025 showcased how both countries can jointly develop innovative halal products and creative ventures that cater to regional and global markets. The event also reinforced the role of public–private partnerships in driving sustainable economic development and strengthening Indonesia–Singapore relations.
