Pertamina International Marketing & Distribution Pte. Ltd. (PIMD) opened its booth at the Singapore International Bunkering Conference and Exhibition (SIBCON) 2024, aiming to strengthen its global bunker fuel sales
Pertamina’s participation in SIBCON 2024 was officially inaugurated by Mr. Djati Ismojo, Deputy Ambassador of the Embassy of Indonesia in Singapore, on October 9th, 2024. Held in Singapore, SIBCON is renowned as the world’s largest bunkering conference, gathering key players in the marine fuel industry, including shipowners, suppliers, traders, and marine fuel companies from around the globe.
At the event, PIMD showcased its strategic position in the marine fuels sector by presenting innovative solutions and premium services. The exhibition served as a crucial platform for the company to expand its network and foster business collaborations. Pertamina’s participation marked a significant milestone in its goal to achieve bunker sales of over 600,000 MT, valued at more than USD 400 million (around IDR 4.5 trillion) by 2025.
The event drew positive responses from global industry players, as Pertamina focused on expanding its international market while reinforcing its commitment to energy sustainability. PIMD hopes to continue contributing to the global shipping industry’s fuel needs with its growing presence in the marine fuels market.
