A number of students from various universities were present as participants in the Ruangguru Clash of Champions 2024 competition

RUANGGURU, an online learning platform, recently created its event “Ruangguru Clash of Champion 2024,” designed to find the best students from Indonesia and other countries. Mr. Marga Anugerah, AVP Academic Affairs and Marketing at Ruangguru and Producer of Ruangguru Clash of Champions 2024, explained that the program featured a unique game show format that delivered educational and inspiring content.

The event, which took place in 29th June 2024 and will finish on 28th July 2024, challenged students in intelligence and strategy through a series of problem-solving tasks. These tasks were crafted by Mr. Marga’s team to test participants’ numerical, logical, memory, and strategic thinking skills. The competition demanded significant energy and emotional resilience from the participants.

Axel Giovanni Hartanto, a double major in computer science and mathematics at the National University of Singapore, shared his experience of the intense pressure the competition placed on participants. He mentioned that the short time frames for challenges heightened the risk of elimination with even the smallest mistakes.

The competition was attended by top universities around the world, including NUS, NTU, Yale, KAIST, Gadjah Mada University, Bandung Institute of Technology, University of Indonesia, BINUS, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Airlangga University, Andalas University, Bogor Agricultural Institute, Hasanuddin University, Padjadjaran University, Udayana University, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Diponegoro University, and Brawijaya University. This global representation underscored the event’s prestige and the high level of student competence showcased.

The Ruangguru Clash of Champion 2024 was broadcast every Saturday at 18.30 WIB on Ruangguru’s YouTube channel and TikTok @ClashofChampions2024. The program aimed to set a new standard in edutainment content, appealing to audiences across all age groups in Indonesia.
