
The Indonesian School Singapore paid tribute to Ambassador Suryo Pratomo and Mrs Noeri Widowati through a heartfelt farewell event celebrating five years of dedicated service and close ties with the school community
As a gesture of appreciation for five years of service by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore, Suryo Pratomo, and Mrs Noeri Widowati, the Indonesian School Singapore (SIS) organised a farewell event on 10 December 2025. The event was attended by teachers, students, and representatives of parents, marking a meaningful moment of reflection and gratitude.

In his remarks, Ambassador Suryo Pratomo expressed his deep appreciation for the sincerity and dedication of the teachers and staff of the Indonesian School Singapore in guiding and nurturing students. He emphasised that SIS is not merely an educational institution, but a second home where character, values, and a love for Indonesia are cultivated through care and commitment.

The farewell gathering was marked by a warm and emotional atmosphere, reflecting the strong bonds formed between the school leadership, educators, students, and the Ambassador and Mrs Noeri Widowati. Moments of togetherness throughout the event highlighted the close relationship that has grown during the Ambassador’s tenure in Singapore.
The occasion concluded with hopes that the shared experiences and memories would serve as a strong foundation for the continued progress of the Indonesian School Singapore.
