INDONESIAN Ambassador to Singapore, H.E. Suryo Pratomo, along with his wife Ms. Noeri Widowati, attended The 31st Exemplary Mother Award as the event’s Guests of Honour. The event took place on 7th September 2024, at the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel in Singapore, and was organised by Jamiyah Singapore, a leading Malay-Muslim community organisation here.

For the past 31 years, the Exemplary Mother Award has celebrated inspiring mothers who play vital roles in their families and society. The award is a testament to Jamiyah Singapore’s dedication to supporting women, especially mothers, who serve as the pillars of raising a future generation with strong values.

The Indonesian arts team from Sekolah Indonesia Singapura performed traditional Javanese gamelan music and dances to welcome the Ambassador and his wife as they entered the event. The performance added a touch of Indonesian culture to the celebration.

The event also featured heartfelt musical performances by two prominent Singaporean singers, Taufik Batisah and Aisyah Aziz. Their songs dedicated to mothers moved the audience, creating an emotional and memorable atmosphere.
