New facility expands access to dental care services.
SATA CommHealth has opened its first dedicated Dental Centre for Migrant Workers, expanding access to affordable dental care and oral healthcare services for migrant workers in Singapore.
Officially opened by Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Minister of State for Manpower, the new facility provides a range of dental services, including routine check-ups, fillings, tooth extractions and treatment for acute dental conditions. Patients requiring more complex care will be referred to specialist partners, including Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and HealthServe.
Beyond clinical treatment, the centre will also support preventive oral healthcare through regular outreach programmes at nearby dormitories and migrant worker clinics. These efforts aim to bring oral health education closer to workers and encourage stronger preventive care habits.
Located in northern Singapore, the new facility adds a third dental clinic for migrant workers, complementing existing services provided by partners in the eastern and western parts of Singapore. The expansion provides another point of access for workers seeking timely and affordable dental care.
The opening of the centre reflects continued collaboration between the Government, healthcare providers and community partners to support migrant workers’ health and wellbeing. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash highlighted the importance of these collective efforts in improving healthcare support for migrant workers.
